Umatilla Electric is saying goodbye to our home as we’ve known it for over 40 years. We are thrilled about the plans to expand our office. In order for construction to begin, the current UEC lobby has been relocated.
Construction has begun at the Umatilla Electric Headquarters Office, located at 750 W. Elm Avenue. In order to complete necessary renovations, the existing lobby has closed and lobby services have been relocated to a modular office facility for the duration of the construction project.
The modular lobby is on the south-east corner of the UEC property, near the intersection of Elm Avenue and First Place. Please see map below.
The modular was delivered the week of March 11 and crews have worked hard to prepare the location for UEC employees and service to members. The new location houses the same great staff and offers the same services for both Umatilla Electric members and Hermiston Energy Services customers.
The new lobby space is now open and includes many payment stations, ADA access and car-side assistance available by request, for payment convenience. The previous parking areas and building will not be accessible for members through the duration of construction. Please be careful in the area and watch for crews working.
We ask that members please use the west entrance of the new lobby space to complete business. The entrances are shown in the map, at right.
