Pay Online with SmartHub
Umatilla Electric Cooperative’s SmartHub portal allows you to manage your account from a computer, smartphone, or tablet. Download the app to stay connected from your mobile devices. Available in the App Store and Google Play.

No more guesswork. No more due dates, late fees, or deposits. The new PowerUp PrePay Program is the latest option for paying your residential electric bill. Pay in advance for the electricity you will use, and choose when and how you make your payments.

Pay By Phone
Pay by phone anytime day or night by calling (888) 480-9709. Have your account number handy. Payments can be made using your checking/savings account or credit/debit card.
MoneyGram
Pay your bill with cash at MoneyGram locations locally or nationwide, including all Walmarts. (You may be charged a convenience fee; UEC does not receive any compensation from the convenience fee.) Bring your bill stub; it contains the necessary information to ensure your payment is processed correctly.

Billing Options That Serve You Best
Budget Billing
Budget your power bill by paying the same monthly amount throughout the year, based on average usage of the past 12 months. By equalizing your payments, you avoid the seasonal peaks associated with heating and cooling months. Your average billing amount is reviewed and adjusted each year. Participation requires a 12-month continuous use history. You may sign up online or visit UEC’s Hermiston or Boardman offices for help.
Recurring Bill Payment
In Recurring Bill Payments, the amount of your monthly bill is withdrawn from the account you specify, checking/savings or use a credit/debit card. You don’t have to write a check or go out to pay your bill. Sign up online for Recurring Payments. If you are a member who uses our recurring payment program, you will need to re-register in SmartHub.
Service Charges
All bills are due and payable 15 days after they are issued, except as specified by rate schedules and contracts. Umatilla Electric service charges are assessed according to board policy and equity to all UEC members. Charges are as follows:

NOTE: If UEC is called outside of normal working hours to restore/repair service and it is determined the problem or fault is located between UEC’s meter and the customer’s service, UEC may charge the member for time incurred in making this determination.
