Umatilla Electric Cooperative (UEC) supports the local community by providing charitable donations on behalf of the cooperative’s membership.
Projects such as school and extra-curricular activities, sports sponsorships, civic events, fundraisers, and community development campaigns will be considered.
UEC also makes significant contributions through labor and donated materials.

In addition, UEC annually gives school supplies to area elementary school students who need help obtaining supplies for classroom use. Supplies are delivered to area schools for distribution by school staff.
Schools participating include West Grade School in Stanfield; McNary Heights Elementary in Umatilla; West Park, Sunset, Rocky Heights, Desert View, and Highland Hills schools in Hermiston; Echo Grade School; A.C. Houghton in Irrigon; Sam Boardman Grade School in Boardman; Weston Elementary; Athena Elementary and Pilot Rock Grade School.
