Meter replacements continue with plans to wrap up system-wide replacements by the end of the year. Umatilla Electric has worked closely with UEC contractor, Allegiant Utility Services, to install the new meter technology across UEC's service territory.
To date, over 14,000 meters have been installed. Final installations are being completed with irrigation, commercial and industrial meters being replaced starting with members in the Buttercreek area, moving west to Boardman, and then finishing to the east towards Pendleton.
