Umatilla Electric Cooperative has hired Marie Cain as the co-op’s Manager of Accounting. Cain has spent the last seven years at Threemile Canyon Farms (Boardman, Ore.) with her most recent position being the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.
“Marie’s experience at the farm has given her a solid foundation to lead the Accounting Department for UEC,” said Lisa McMeen, UEC Vice President of Administration. “Marie is a great addition to our management team and we look forward to the ways that Marie’s skills will be utilized to support our membership.”
Cain holds two bachelors degrees from the Oregon Institute of Technology, one in Accounting and another in Small Business Entrepreneurship. She is also certified in Financial Planning & Analysis through the Association of Financial Professionals. Marie resides in Boardman with her family where she is also the Head Volleyball Coach for Riverside High School. She began in her new role on Monday, Dec. 5.
