Umatilla Electric is proud to partner again with CoBank, a cooperative bank based in Colorado, to double financial contributions to non-profit organizations in our community. Through CoBank's Sharing Success program, UEC's donations were matched by CoBank to make a difference right here - at home. Four projects received funding this year, including:
- The Boardman Oregon Police Department purchased specialized equipment for their officers
- Desert Rose Ministries purchased a vehicle to support their services
- Funland Playground will receive a new tactile map, allowing the park to be more inclusive, and
- TruCare Pregnancy Services will use donations to complete their new location in the Hermiston area
