ORECA Honors RoseEtta Ansotegui’s 12 years of service on UEC Board
Newly retired UEC Board Member RoseEtta Ansotegui has been honored (shown with UEC Board President Bob MacPherson) for her service by the Oregon Rural Electric Cooperative Association at its Mid-Year Meeting in Hood River.
RoseEtta stepped down from the Umatilla Electric Board of Directors, effective July 15, to care for those in her family with health-related issues.
She was first elected in 2005 and re-elected four times in a district that encompasses rural areas near Pilot Rock and Pendleton and into the Blue Mountains.
During her time on the Board, RoseEtta attended many classes, meetings and conferences on behalf of UEC, and completed all board director certificate programs, including the “Director Gold” designation, the highest credential level of training offered by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
