2015 Hydromania Teacher Camp


Who: 
Open To All Educators, School Staff and Home School Teachers; However Registration Priority Is Given To Educators In Umatilla And Morrow Counties.

Cost:
Registration For Hydromania Is FREE. Educators Will Be Responsible For The Cost of University Credits ($180).

Credits:
Three Hours Of College Graduate Credit From Eastern Oregon University And/or 30 Hours Professional Development Units.

What:
Award Winning Hands-on Science Camp Using Science, Water Experiments And Field Trips. All Grade Levels Are Welcome, However There Will Be One Day Targeted To Elementary And Middle School.  All Experiments Can Be Adapted To The Various Levels.

Umatilla Electric Cooperative 750 W. Elm Ave., Hermiston.

Instructor:   
Lead Instructor: Jodie Harden Is A Veteran Science Teacher With The Pendleton School District, Blue Mountain Community College and Eastern Oregon University.  She Is A Highly Respected Educator Who Currently Serves As The President Of The Oregon Science Teachers Association (OSTA). She Is Actively Involved With The Youth In Her Community And Also Serves As A Volunteer EMT.

Curriculum:   
The Highly Acclaimed “Hydromania” And The “Kids In The Creek” Curriculum.  Classroom-adaptable Experiments Will Be Used And The Field Trips Will Promote Classroom Ideas And Ready The Teacher For Applying The Materials To The Classroom.  Copies Of The Entire Curriculum Will Be Available For Teachers To Take With Them.
