At UEC, your participation shapes the future of your cooperative. Whether it’s sharing feedback, voting in board elections, or staying informed on important initiatives, your engagement helps us grow stronger together. This month, I invite you to take part in 3 opportunities to make your voice heard.
- Member Satisfaction Survey – Share Your Feedback
-
- If you’re one of the 1,500 members randomly selected to receive UEC’s upcoming Member Satisfaction Survey, I hope you’ll take a few minutes to complete it. This nationwide survey is a respected tool that helps measure satisfaction across industries, including electric cooperatives like ours. For the past 2 years, UEC has received Customer Satisfaction Awards as a result of these surveys.
- Your feedback helps us improve services, develop new programs, and make informed decisions that benefit all members.
- If you receive a survey, please know that they are a measure of our performance, and your input is invaluable.
- Proposed Bylaw Changes – Your Vote Counts
-
- Later this month, all UEC members will receive voting materials for proposed updates to our bylaws. These updates are intended to clarify language related to board and leadership titles, as well as other general updates to reflect the current needs of the organization.
-
- You’ll find a summary of the proposed updates on page 28, and full voting materials will arrive in your mailbox later this month. Please take the time to review them and cast your vote.
- Board Elections – Help Shape UEC’s Leadership
-
- UEC is divided into 7 districts, each represented by an elected director serving a three-year term. This year, members in the Boardman and Irrigon area (Districts 1 and 2) will vote for their board director.
- Board members play a vital role in guiding UEC’s future, ensuring we continue to provide exceptional, member-first service while keeping your best interests in mind.
- Key Voting Dates:
- March 26 – Election materials mailed.
- April 18 – Ballots must be received by noon, so vote early to avoid mail delays.
At UEC, we work for you — our members. Your participation makes a difference, ensuring we continue to serve you in the best way possible. Thank you for being an engaged member-owner, should you ever have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
