For those with overdue energy bills, please contact us. There are numerous programs that may be able to assist local families with the cost of energy. We are here to help you navigate those options.
- Our UCARE energy assistance fund helps residential members pay electric bills due to personal family, medical or employment crisis or emergency. UCARE funds are available for UEC members who qualify.
- You may request a payment extension. A payment extension offers you extra time to pay your electric bill, should you be experiencing financial difficulties. Please call or visit one of our office locations to discuss your payment options to pay what you can so you don’t build up a large past-due balance.
