Umatilla Electric Cooperative (UEC) is pleased to announce that Erica Wilson has joined the cooperative as Manager of Accounting, bringing more than 10 years of electric cooperative and utility industry experience to the organization.
Wilson most recently held leadership roles with Matanuska Electric Association and the Railbelt Reliability Council in Alaska, where she led accounting and business operations teams and helped strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and organizational effectiveness. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with executive leadership and boards of directors to support strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
In her new role, Wilson will oversee UEC's accounting functions and help ensure the cooperative maintains strong financial stewardship while supporting the stable service members depend on.
Wilson's experience extends beyond accounting to include collaboration across member services, billing, inventory, engineering, and operations functions, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the interconnected systems that support cooperative success.
"Erica brings a wealth of cooperative and utility experience, along with a proven track record of leadership and continuous improvement," said Josh Lankford, executive vice president/COO. "Her expertise and operational excellence will be a valuable asset as UEC continues to grow and serve our members."
Wilson began her role with UEC on June 22.
