Umatilla Electric is proud to donate to the 541 Pickleball Club as they continue fundraising for new permanent pickleball courts to be constructed in Hermiston.
Pickleball is a growing sport in the United States, and a group in eastern Oregon shares this passion, aiming to build permanent courts in Hermiston. In April, the Hermiston City Council approved the addition of 10 pickleball courts to Theater Sportspark on Geer Road. The 541 Pickleball Club, composed of local enthusiasts, is leading the effort to raise nearly $650,000 for the project.
Umatilla Electric is proud to donate to the club on behalf of the membership. Adding recreation opportunities improves the livability of our communities and the health of our citizens.
