Job Description

The IT Analyst is responsible for designing, engineering, monitoring, and supporting the server and storage environment, which supports critical employee workflows. They will find technology improvements to help UEC grow securely and quickly by analyzing current and future business needs.

Job Related Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Education:

IT Analyst I & II: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

Experience:

IT Analyst I: No experience required.

IT Analyst II: Five (5) years of experience in computer science or related discipline or a combination of education and experience.

Required Skills:

IT Analyst I:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Microsoft Windows and end user computing environments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

IT Analyst II:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Microsoft Windows, and end user computing environments.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Veeam or related technology.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with VMWare or related technology.

Preferred Skills/Desired Certifications:

IT Analyst I:

  • Experience with SQL Server or Oracle
  • Experience with Azure AD
  • Experience with Veeam or related technology.
  • Experience with VMware or related technology.

IT Analyst II: 

  • Experience with SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Prior proven experience with cloud conversions.
