Job Description
This position, under supervision, may be assigned essential duties relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, construction and maintenance of work orders, special equipment, plant records and fixed asset records, as well as assisting with materials inventory processes. This position also maintains the UEC accounting systems in accordance with the RUS uniform system of accounts and standard accounting practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include other duties as assigned.
- Maintains the UEC accounting systems in accordance with the RUS uniform system of accounts and standard accounting practices.
- Demonstrates experience, knowledge and willingness to provide clerk support for all related accounting areas, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Work Order Processing; as well as Capital Credits, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Account Balancing/Reconciliations.

Education: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
Experience: Two (2) or more years in general accounting or bookkeeping experience in a comparable organization. RUS or utility accounting experience is highly preferred.
