Utility service areas in Oregon have been set by the Oregon Public Utility Commission (PUC) through orders assigning service territories throughout the state. When a new subdivision is constructed, the neighborhood could be served by two utilities, with the service lines between two houses or running down the middle of the street. UEC is obligated and honored to serve anyone in our service area!
