Is there any effort to encourage more women as board members?

UEC’s board nomination and election process is open to all eligible members, and we encourage interested members—including women—to consider serving. Our most recent female director retired in 2017 after serving District 6 for more than a decade. Directors are nominated and elected by the membership.
