Why Rebuild the Distribution Line?
Updated infrastructure is necessary to ensure the safety of our system and quality of service our members deserve. This distribution line has reached the end of its planned life and is being replaced before it causes any issue to service in the area.

Distribution lines are critical links in the electric distribution system to get power to our membership. As our communities continue to grow, UEC is committed to investing in the infrastructure to serve our members.
Benefits and Value Carefully Considered
UEC members and the community may experience construction activity along the route including near Irrigon Jr./Sr. High School. Rd. with minimal impact to traffic. Members can expect to see new poles and new conductor being installed. Members may experience occasional impacts to service when service is moved from the original line to the newly constructed line. Most work will be completed with members in service.
